A resounding applause for Dr. Jamelyn B. Palattao!

The College of Arts and Social Sciences extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Jamelyn B. Palattao for joining the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (NCCA) National Committee for Historical Research (NCHR) on October 15, 2025, as the designated representative for the MSU-IIT Department of History for the years 2026 to 2028.

Dr. Palattao is currently serving as the Chairperson for the university’s Department of History. Her appointment is not just a testament to the solid foundation of the historical research and publications within the department, but also underscores the university’s dedication to pursuing growth and innovation in this field.
