Election results are in!



With 481 out of 2,117 Arachnids casting their ballots, the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) recorded a 22.72% turnout during the 2025 KASAMA General Election held on October 2 to 3.


Sole independent candidate Jovan R. Virtudazo emerged victorious as the new CASS Governor, garnering 371 votes.


Leading the race for Board Members are Ivy Ann B. Bongalos (STEPS) with 313 votes, Cristal Jane G. Cambaya (STEPS) with 306, and Albani G. Daud (Independent) with 299. They are followed by Franches Arquillus B. Saguindang (STEPS) with 285 votes, Norjhan S. Rasuman (STEPS) with 261, and Mary Ferdeene J. Managing (STEPS) with 259.


Following the conclusion of the election, CASS looks ahead to a new term of student leadership and representation, as the newly elected officers prepare to continue the college’s legacy of service and excellence.
