Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) has announced the extension of online classes until Tuesday, October 14, 2025, following recent earthquakes and ongoing assessments of campus infrastructure.

In a memorandum issued by the Office of the University Chancellor on today, October 12, the university emphasized that the extension aims to allow students, faculty, and staff time for recovery and adjustment before the resumption of regular face-to-face classes.

The university also grants flexibility in the conduct of OJT and field activities until October 17, 2025, and rolls out mental health support measures, including psychosocial debriefings and open counseling.
