The Pen That Stirred a Nation

On this 30th day of December, we commemorate the 129th anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal’s execution, a man whose pen etched an enduring mark on the pages of history. Through his works, he fueled the consciousness of the Filipino people and empowered countless generations to strive for freedom, dignity, and the truth.

He himself was the pen that stirred a nation. His pursuit for a greater Philippines did not end in his martyrdom, it lives on within each Filipino who chooses to be aware, compassionate, and courageous in the face of the many challenges we have today. May we carry his legacy not only in remembrance, but in action.

A Rizal Day of wisdom and hope to all!
