𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗥, 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗦

Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) Cats reign supreme in this year’s edition of the MSU System Athletic Association (MSUSAA) Unity Games, hosted at the MSU-Main Campus in Marawi City.

The Cats finished strong with 116 gold, 41 silver, and 29 bronze medals to claim the tightly contested top spot over the six-time hopefuls, MSU-General Santos (MSU-GenSan) Generals, earlier this month.

Adding to the glory of the Cats’ championship run were our very own student-athletes from the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS), who collectively hauled 9 gold, 12 silver, and 3 bronze medals across various sporting events, alongside two runner-up trophies, further fueling IIT’s dominant outing in the biennial competition.

The achievement highlighted the contribution of CASS student-athletes to MSU-IIT’s overall performance in the biennial competition, alongside the efforts of the coaching staff, performers, and facilitating coordinators who supported the delegation throughout the games.

With their performance on the field, CASS student-athletes further demonstrated that excellence extends beyond the classroom, contributing to MSU-IIT’s successful campaign in this year’s MSUSAA Unity Games.
