(Short Film) Panganod

SYNOPSIS

 Panganod is a story set during the aftermath of Typhoon Sendong (International Name: Washi) when Miko (played by Arnel Filarca), a normal student of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, loses his family and his happiness. With a somewhat pessimistic outlook in life, he develops strong negative responses to anything related to or reminds him of the flood. Feeling that his friends have failed him, Miko separates himself from the world.

He then meets a very mysterious but unique girl, Ardelle (Rhoie Omlero), and builds a warm relationship with her. Seeing her as a new source of strength, Miko tries to overcome his so-called Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), at the expense of losing his friends. In this story of teenage love, friendship and personal struggles, we find that not only is love found in people we least expect and in the most unlikely circumstances.
