We celebrate women from all over the world- those who have successfully led nations in battling the coronavirus, those who have to be on the frontlines, those who have to work twice as hard for their families in this time of the pandemic. Let it be known perpetually that women are great leaders with brave hearts and should take up more space in important decision-making matters.
This International Women’s Day, while we celebrate the achievements made by women, let us also not forget the persisting problems that need to be eradicated such as domestic violence, workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, and other gender-related abuses.
Let us work collectively in achieving a world free from discrimination and violence.
