Women's Equality Day

For centuries, women have been fighting for more representation and equality in society. Women’s Equality Day is a commemoration of the struggles of women to be heard as fierce advocates who gained the constitutional right to vote based on the Amendment of the US Constitution.

Although it is most celebrated in the United States, it is still remembered throughout history that the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that changes the rules of patriarchy. Women’s continuing struggle for equality in the workplace and their role in the household and public life is worth reflecting on.

Today, we are firmly reminded that we all have the opportunity and the responsibility - to create a society that fosters equal voices for the benefit of both men and women.
