Earlier today, the College of Arts and Social Sciences joins the opening of the 2022 World Mental Health Celebration with the theme “Marking Mental Health and Well-Being for all a Global Priority”
Donning a white and black aesthetic and waving their green flags, the CASS Arachnids together with other Colleges and Organisations in MSU-IIT, parades the whole of the MSU-IIT campus and performs at three stops near Administration Building, near PRISM, and at the Institute Gymnasium.
While in the afternoon, students were treated to a Mental Health Forum with resource speaker Dr. Sheila Marie G. Hocson held at the Mini Theater. The main agenda of the forum was to remind the students about taking care of their personal well-being and the troubles brought about the lack of self-care
This celebration of well-being is spearheaded by the Office of Guidance and Counseling and starts today until 28 October 2022.

Reggy H. Bartido is a Senior BA Sociology undergraduate student of the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). At the present, Reggy holds the post of Editor-in-Chief of CASSayuran - the official publication of the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) of MSU-IIT. That said, Mr. Bartido’s undergraduate thesis (on-going) primarily revolves around Environmental Sociology studies and Sustainable Development, areas that are part of his research interest that also includes Youth Studies and Political Sociology.
