In the 2023 Scientist Rankings of the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), a Social Scientist joined the roster of the top 10 Scientists in MSU-IIT as determined in the 2023 Alper-Dodger Scientific Index.
Dr. Imelu G. Mordeno bagged the ninth spot and is the only Social Scientist in the Scientist Rankings in MSU-IIT in the 2023 AD Scientific Index. Dr. Mordeno is a Clinical Psychologist of the Department of Professional Education of the College of Education (CED) and is the supervising Psychologist of the MSU-IIT Psychosocial Response Team. Dr. Mordeno is the head of the said hub as it is a collaborative effort of the Department of Psychology of the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) and Department of Professional Education.

The MSU-IIT Psychosocial Hub is beyond proud to have one of the country's best social scientists as our supervising psychologist. Dr. Imelu G. Mordeno is among the Top 10 scientists at MSU-IIT according to the Alper-Doger Scientific Index.
Six of the 10 Scientists in the top rank hail from the Natural Sciences division of the University, while only one Scientist is from the Engineering division, Medical and Health Sciences Division, and Social Sciences division, respectively.
MSU-IIT recently ranked first among higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines in the 2023 AD Scientific Index. The AD Index was developed by Prof. Dr. Murat ALPER (MD) and Associate Prof. Dr. Cihan DÖĞER (MD) using the total and last five years' values of the i10 index, h-index, and citation scores in Google Scholar.
Likewise, they retrieve data based on the rankings from Google Scholar, the profiles with up to 300 citations and verified addresses or the profiles that build confidence for their accuracy are listed primarily. Thus, it is aimed to standardize the names, institutions, and branches as much as possible.

Reggy H. Bartido is a Senior BA Sociology undergraduate student of the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). At the present, Reggy holds the post of Editor-in-Chief of CASSayuran - the official publication of the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) of MSU-IIT.
