CASSinging Trio Lit it Green

The MSU-IIT gymnasium was packed with students waving their college banners and sporting their college colors. Despite the event's delayed start, MSU-IIT students encouraged their participation by flashing the colors of their respective colleges through their phones.

The second day of MSU-IIT Palakasan 2023 ended with the "night of songs" event, which was formally kicked off by the MSU-IIT Drag Queen Superstars ramp walk, followed by the Fantastic Singing, and then Trio Mindanaoan singing.

Colors representing pride, beliefs, camaraderie, and support filled the vicinity. As time passes, the cheers from each corner get louder, and the desire to demonstrate one's abilities and ingenuity grows stronger as the clock approaches Cinderella's time to lose her shoe.

The Trio Mindanaoan was more than simply a collegiate performance. It demonstrates perseverance, support, and collaborative efforts. A sweat of competitiveness that reflected the need to promote diversity and inclusion.

The College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) lit the event in green, the College of Economic, Business, and Accountancy (CEBA) bled gold, the College of Engineering (COE) spit fire, the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) flashed purple, the College of Health Sciences (CHS) waved in blue, the College of Education and Integrated Developmental School (CED-IDS) joined forces in blue and pink, and the College of Computer Studies (CCS) shined in ocean blue green.

The CASS dendro arachnids go high and low by projecting "Kamang Damang," "CASS PinakamalaCASS," and "Go CASS'' to support their participants' performances. Crowds shout and cheer "CASS Kasikas PinakamalaCASS". The dendro arachnids never failed to express their support, just as the CASS performance never fails in Trio Mindanaoan as they sing.

Sayaw, sayaw, sumasayaw ang langit. Kay raming dahilan upang magdiwang. Tayo’y pinag-isa ng langit, lupa, kalikasan, at kultura.

The colorful performance was completed by the rhythm and recognized sounds, as well as hip, shoulder, and foot gestures. The Trio Mindanaoan singing competition demonstrates more than just exquisite hand dances, tribal costumes, and delight, but also variety. It promotes Mindanao's numerous ethnic groups that contribute to its distinctiveness and illustrates how Mindanao genuinely lives in harmony despite diversity.

It accomplished that the varied hues, together with its depiction, created a home that provided comfort and inclusion. That a certain hue would not predominate if other colors did not exist. There are no highlights without a whole, and it demonstrates that colleges share common ground. The various vocal ranges that produce a heavenly sound depict Mindanao's cultural distinctions, which go beyond being unique yet harmonious.

The performances in the Trio Mindanaoan singing competition are more than simply a way to reclaim honor, power, and influence; they also demonstrate that Mindanao's variety does not separate the island. It is one-of-a-kind and limitless.

The CASSinging trio's performance prompted dendro-arachnids to proudly rise in green.
