Mx. IIT Goodwill Honors Win to CASS Family

As she walked with dazzling grace and command, with one wave of a hand, she weaved the cheers and spirit of fervent damangs. Flocking the hall with chants while uttering the letters: “ C, A, S, S” one pause at a time, and spelled “CASS” together in mind, is the picture behind Mx. IIT Goodwill, Jelie Sajulla Malmis’ gratitude to the ever supportive CASS community, as they stood as one in support of her journey to the crown.

From her sociology society family, advocacy mentors, event coordinator, CASS executive council, and to the whole arachnid community, she harked back to all their help throughout this making of history.

In an interview with CASSayuran, Jelie shared how relieved she was to secure her college’s spot at the shortlisting of the top 3 considering her last pageant where she wasn’t able to advance closer to the title at all. She described her experience with appreciation that every time she had a glimpse of the CASS crowd, it somehow appeased her anxiety.

After clinching the title of Mx. IIT Goodwill, Jelie remains steadfast and committed to the advocacy she has always championed. She hopes to further collaborative endeavors with the LGUs and NGOs to realize the objective of her cause. This means her advocacy in countering disinformation and voter’s empowerment will still live on.

More so, her win opened a lot of offers for her. Apart from her designer’s choice award which she is entitled to a year of free wardrobe for any of her social gatherings, a pageant camp has also expressed intent to invite her to their team.
