PinakamalaCASS Unite: Seven Societies Fighting as One, they are the Winners of Palakasan!

Accompanied by a passionate and steadfast crowd, the bench-cheering participants from the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) pour their hearts out to cheer and flaunt not just their capabilities but their devotion to their college yesterday during the Bench Cheering Competition and the Palakasan Night of Dances. Not without hurdles, of course, even before the competition proper, CASS manages to push through like a true Dendro Arachnid to the vibrations in their webs upon their arrival, ready to devour their prey. The seven societies unite to work in unison to achieve more than CASS' glory and honor; rather better represent the heart of the institution moving forward with the values of compassion and justice alongside intelligence.

With Palakasan's comeback this year, the competition to cheer on the benches is one of the most anticipated events. Filling an entire bleacher, the feisty Arachnids took on the challenge and heated the bleacher with their top-of-the-game performance. From CASS' impactful climactic chanting of "arachnids, arachnids, arachnids" in the beginning, emulating arachnid's fluid movements, incorporating smooth transitions, and concluding with a powerful blow. It undoubtedly captures the attention and praise of audiences from different colleges.

CASS' bench cheerleaders play a crucial role in keeping up with the college's ranking charts and lifting the spirits of CASS' participants, students, staff, and teachers, expressing their purposeful support and regard for everybody's hard work. For first-time Palakasan attendees, nothing beats witnessing the seven CASS societies put aside their differences and work together to be in sync. With all the inherent challenges of partaking in any competition, dealing with such a large crowd and seeing how they could deliver would make anyone proud to be an arachnid.

Most importantly, the night showcase CASS' unwavering commitment to excellence and give nothing short of its best in honor of representing the college while being on par with other competing forces. Getting off to a strong head start on the third night, CASS' made it clear that they are not to be taken lightly and a force that must be reckoned with. Hail, warming up the benches should be done right— CASSpinakamalakas!
