Arachnids Overpower Sharks in Men’s VBall Pre-Games, 2-0

In a passionate display of teamwork, the CASS Lethal Arachnids surged forward with relentless determination, securing a resounding 2-0 triumph over the CHS Icy Sharks during game four of the PALAKASAN pre-games for Men’s Volleyball on April 8 at the IDS Multi-Purpose Hall.


The first match began with a strong start for CASS, who steadily took the lead. But with the Icy Sharks refusing to relent, spectators were treated to a riveting match as both teams fiercely battled it out.


CHS eventually evened the score at 19-19, intensifying the competition. However, this resurgence was short-lived, as five minutes before the match concluded, a flurry of points from the Lethal Arachnids sealed the fate of the match, ending it at 25-22.


The second match soon kicked off with the CASS Arachnids surging ahead with a 4-point lead. Despite the resilient efforts of the CHS Sharks, the Arachnids maintained a significant point gap throughout the game, amassing points at a rapid pace.


By the halfway mark, the scoreboard was at 15-8 in favor of the Arachnids. This pattern persisted until the conclusion of the match, with the CASS team ultimately clinching victory over the CHS team with a final score of 25-14.


The atmosphere remained electric throughout the match, with the hall resounding with loud cheers and applause from spectators of both colleges who were loud and proud in supporting their players. The game lasted an hour. The Lethal Arachnids are set to continue playing towards their success.
