Lethal Arachnids Sting in Men's, Eked Out in Women’s Palakasan Volleyball Pre-Games

The CASS Lethal Arachnids faced off against the CSM Space Lynxes in a gripping and intense PALAKASAN 2024 pre-games for Men's and Women's Volleyball held at the MSU-IIT Gymnasium on April 2 at 6:00 PM. 

The first set saw the Space Lynxes dominate from the start, establishing a strong lead that the Lethal Arachnids struggled to overcome. Despite their valiant efforts, the Arachnids fell behind 17-25.

Determined, the Lethal Arachnids came back more focused in the second set. They executed powerful offensive plays and displayed impressive defensive moves, keeping the score neck-and-neck with the Space Lynxes. The Arachnids even managed to inch ahead at 24-26, but the Space Lynxes ultimately secured the set win.

The final scores rest at 17-25 and 24-26 for Women's Volleyball in favor of the Space Lynxes, both displaying exceptional determination for both teams throughout the game.

Reclaiming a win in another category, the Arachnids dominated the court during the Men's Volleyball match, securing convincing victories in both sets with scores of 25-17 and 25-19.

From the start, the Lethal Arachnids displayed exceptional control and teamwork. Their aggressive offense kept the Space Lynxes on their toes, while their solid defense effectively blocked attacks. This resulted in a commanding 25-17 win in the first set.

The Arachnids continued their momentum in the second set, showcasing powerful serves and well-coordinated plays. Despite the valiant effort of the Space Lynxes, the Lethal Arachnids maintained their lead and secured another set victory with a score of 25-19.

In the end, both the Kingdoms of Lethal Arachnids and Space Lynxes will move to the next round. The Lynxes will compete in Women's Volleyball, while the Arachnids will play in Men's Volleyball.
